Fundraiser for Kareem Wright- March 2020

I first met Kareem at 12 years old when he and his brother David came into a store where I worked part-time. Kareem and his brother didn't dress or act like the young boys I was used to seeing, they were dressed like little men and were smart, kind and considerate.  As time passed I saw both boys grow up to be men any mother would be proud of. Kareem's interest was in sports and over the years I watched him fulfill many of his dreams; later in his adult life, he turned his interest in sports into a lifelong career by coaching and mentoring the youth in his community.
Suddenly, on February 21, 2020, Kareem became extremely ill and collapsed. He was admitted to the Heart & Vascular Intensive Care Unit of Penn-Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia where he remains on Life Support.
Kareem and his wife Chiquita have 3 beautiful children who are prayerfully holding on to hope that there will be a full recovery. The doctors have told them we must wait and see if the treatment is working. It has been very hard for this family mentally and physically and they need help!

This fundraiser is to help with ongoing living expenses for the family. There is no income coming in and the medical bills are mounting. We are asking for monetary donations and your prayers. Any and all donations are appreciated. All donations go directly to the family minus Gofundme fees.
