Dear friends of Kami,

As some of you may know, Kami received news on June 6 that has drastically changed the course of her life; she was diagnosed with uterine cancer that appears to have metastasized to her lungs. As a result, Kami and her wonderful family had to make some very difficult decisions in a very short amount of time. Upon her diagnosis, Kami was immediately referred to an oncologist in the Atlanta area. In a matter of days, she moved out of her apartment in Augusta and relocated to Dawsonville, Georgia to be closer to her new medical team. She will be living with her daughter and son-in-law while she receives treatment from her new doctors.

We know how many people love Kami and how many lives she has touched as a teacher and as a friend. So many of you have reached out to us and have asked how you can help! Therefore, Kami and her daughters have allowed us to create this gofundme to assist with so many medical and financial unknowns. We ask that you prayerfully consider making a donation. Please remember that no amount is too small to make a big impact on Kami and her family during this exceedingly difficult time. Be assured that our prayers are with each of you as well.
