Fundraiser for Junior Gispert & family

Donation protected

This is not an easy request and is not being written without a much-needed purpose. This platform of providing funds to those in need is exactly what this family deserves.

Junior Gispert was just 30 years old when given the diagnosis that no one is prepared for:  Grade IV Glioblastoma (GBM), a rare and aggressive brain cancer, an especially shocking diagnosis for someone his age.

He immediately knew the path for treatment would require chemo, radiation, trials, and professional expertise to slow the progression of this terrible disease. He did it all. He did everything right.

We always hoped we would have a much better outcome than what I have to share with you today. While he's held on to hope throughout this arduous battle, sadly, he has now been informed that all treatment options have been exhausted & is in end-of-life care at just 31 years of age. While this news is difficult to process, the most important thing for the family right now is to spend time together, especially for his young children (2 boys: Jayce(9) and Joel (4), who are now learning how to say good-bye to their father during this holiday season. These are words that a child should never try to have to understand.

Junior and family have had to rely on the kindness of others, for financial assistance, throughout this entire process; since he was suddenly out of work due to immediate disability upon diagnosis.  His wife has also been out of work as she has had to take on the role of full-time caretaker for her husband; but also their 2 small children. The reality is the Gispert family would  do anything for anyone without hesitation. Now their precious family is in need of help with the extraordinary expenses mounting.  For those asking how to help, contributing financially meets a real need for the family.

While he has been battling for his life,  we all know that there are so many financial hardships related to battling this aggressive disease with end-of-life needs as well as maintaining a home for 2 small boys. I know we can rally around the Gispert family during this difficult time.

Like most of us, his health insurance covers some of the expenses, but this is a battle & outcome that will affect our friends on so many levels.  Please help us raise money for this unexpected journey forced upon them and remove some of the financial burden from their shoulders.

Anything you are willing to donate will be graciously accepted.  We fully understand the current economic climate has affected many, so if you are not in a position to donate, all we ask is that you repost or forward this on.

This ask, is not one we take lightly, this is extremely important and close to our hearts so we respectfully request any and all assistance to help them.

For those of you that would like to contribute now to the immediate needs of the family without using this online platform, you can send financial support directly to the family. Any checks can be made out to Elizabeth Gispert, Junior's wife, and mailed to 1321 Florence Court, Holly Hill, FL 32117.

Please continue to keep Junior and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this extremely difficult holiday season. May we give what we can financially, remember that any amount given makes a world of difference! It costs nothing to share this GoFundMe, so I ask that you take a few seconds and share this link.  Continue to cover this sweet family in love and prayers for strength during this difficult time.

Let's show them our love and support is unconditional.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
