Fundraiser for Judy Jackson’s Memorial

Judy’s friends are asking for assistance from our community. Judy was my best friend and meant the world to me. She tragically passed away on January 4th, and we need assistance in covering her funeral expenses after her unexpected passing. Judy has outstanding bills that need to be paid, including financial issues involving our landlord. Our landlord has been anything but understanding since her passing and due to his cold heartedness, he is demanding us to pay for Judy’s portion of the rent, despite our friend just passing. My house mates and I also need to race against the clock as soon as possible to move out, but will most definitely collect debt from trying to pay off Judy’s rent.
Judy’s friends and family want to give her the best funeral/memorial that we can give her. Judy’s life was only just beginning and we have lost one the most resilient, independent women we know. Her friends thought of her as a highly opinionated jokester. Her jokes would knock the wind out of both sides of you. Her Mother, before passing, thought of her as an angel.

We are asking for $15,000 so that we pay for both her cremation and memorial services. In addition to these expenses, we are also faced with various other costs including rent. Clarissa Baskin, one of Judy’s room mates and close friends, is the person I appointed to be the beneficiary for this go fund me because they have been making a log of all the finances and other financial work.
