Joesph Garrison was a loving husband and father. A fighter in the truest form and a mentor to many. He leaves behind an imprint on everyone who's lives he has touched. Joe served his country in the war and his community, retiring as a Lieutenant in the Philadelphia police department. Joe leaves behind a wife named Candi and 3 children named Michael, Ryan-marie and Joey and 1 grandson whom he loved deeply Mikey. Towards the end of his long fight with kidney failure among other things Joe slowly started to need more and more help. It got to the point where a hospital bed had to be brought in with the assistance of nursing home care. Candi, Joe's wife fought a long and hard battle of keeping him with us to the point where she had no time for herself and no energy but kept fighting! Anything he needed and she was there. This family knows love that I didn't know existed. The whole family was there to help. Suddenly, in the early hours of Thursday oct 11th Joe could fight no more and left us as comfortablely as humanly possible to a better place among the stars. Now, the Garrison family needs us. Let's help a great family provide services for a great man.Let's help this family find the peace they need and deserve for a man who wore so many hats. I am honored to have know such a great guy.
