On Friday May 8, 2020 Pfc. John Hanna of the Walker Police Department suffered a hemorrhagic stroke at his home. He was transferred to Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans where he was treated for the stroke and then transferred to the Baton Rouge Rehab hospital for inpatient rehabilitation.
John has a long road ahead regaining use of his left side through inpatient rehab and eventually out patient therapy.
Money collected will help the Hanna family with medical bills and day to day expenses until John is able to return to work. Officer Hanna and his wife have two young children and are expecting a third bundle of joy later this year.
