Fundraiser for Joe McGraw and family

Hi, my name is James Kinard. My wife, Jan and I are doing a fundraiser for our friends Joseph and Sonya McGraw. Joe and Sonya are members of our church, Christ Missionary Baptist Church, and he and his family have run into severe financial hardship due to an unexpected medical emergency. They have been married for 13 years and have a beautiful family of 7. Three have left the nest, and two are still home. Sonya is a former HR Supervisor, and because of Covid-19, she was furloughed and eventually laid off. Due to health challenges, Sonya could not return to the workforce. Joseph is self-employed in the Tree & Lawn service business. Joseph provided for the family so Sonya wouldn't have to be in the elements of Corona Virus. In 2021, Joseph took on a second job overnight to supplement his income, and he was also able to provide much-needed medical insurance for the family. After working his new job for ten months, Joseph faced health challenges and had to resign from his 2nd job. However, Joseph gained more clients in his lawn care business. Unfortunately, shortly after the change, Joseph suffered a stroke. Joseph's left side was paralyzed, causing him to be hospitalized. They're facing extremely high medical costs for Joseph's care and ongoing household bills. They need help, and we are trying to raise a minimum of $50K to help Joseph.
