Hi my name is Carmelle and I'm fundraising for my dear friend Jody, whose youngest sister is battling a rare and aggressive form of cancer.

Anyone who knows Jody, knows how close she is with her sisters, and how much she loves her family. It has been excruciating for her to be so far away during this time. Jody will be flying home tomorrow morning to soak up every moment she can with her baby sister.

As many of you know, being self employed means no sick pay or paid time off to take a leave. Funds raised will go towards her travels costs and income replacement while she takes time to be with her family.

Many of you know Jody as a gifted healer, who goes above and beyond in the care she offers others. She has held many of us in community on her table through big life transitions and I hope we can come together to support her through hers.
