Fundraiser for Janet Huber
Donation protected
On Saturday, September 17, Janet Huber was in a terrible accident while trying to help with landscaping at their daughter's house. Janet was sent by Lifeline helicopter from the accident and taken to Methodist Hospital where she underwent three different surgeries to repair her fractured femur, pelvis, tibia and fibula in her lower leg and also both ulna and radius in her left arm. Janet is in for a very long recovery full of rehab and therapy. During the next several months, her husband Tom will need to be at her side, helping with her recovery, and he will need to take off work to be by her side and get her to and from many appointments. We all know there is no place Tom would rather be than by Janet's side helping her, so I am asking that we all step in and try to help financially take the burden off of the Hubers during the next several months. Initially Tom and Janet were very hesitant for me to do start a Go Fund Me, but I explained to them how much people want to help them, and I finally have their blessing after lots of coaxing. :) The Hubers are a family that would do absolutely anything for anyone, and I know there are lots of people in this town that had Mrs. Huber as their teacher not so long ago and want to help give back.
