Our Dear Joe (Smiley Joe Fiely) is battling Stage 4 cancer.

 

The expenses involved with a catastrophic illness are astronomical. Being the eternally positive spirit that we all know he is, Joe was not diagnosed until the cancer was very advanced.

 

We need your help to cover Joe's many medical expenses related to treatment and home healthcare.

How many of us can say that Joe touched our lives with his passion, mentorship, generosity, and kind counsel? You can't turn a stone over in Chicago's restaurant scene and not find someone whose life Joe hasn't touched.

 

Our timeframe is critical.

 

We know that everyone is struggling right now, but what we do have is each other, and our industry is legendary for taking care of our own.

 

This appeal goes out not only to his many friends in the hospitality industry, but to his close-knit community of long time friends and family.
