Fundraiser for Hamburg Hawks Mite Minor Travel Hockey Team

My name is Richard Morris and I'm the coach of the 2025/26 7U Hamburg Hawks Mite Minor Travel hockey team! As some of you may already know, travel hockey isn't cheap, lol! Many of us hockey parents end up putting ourselves into debt for our kids to play. I'm the oldest of three brothers who all played travel hockey. My parents put themselves over $100,000 in debt throughout the late '80s into the early 2000s for that to happen! Now life has come full circle and my boys are playing and I'm the coach! Without some serious team fundraising, I'm not sure the team will be able to afford to go to any tournaments. If you knew me personally, you'd know that I'm not the type to ask anyone for a handout. I'm a humble pizzeria owner who works 80 to 90 hours per week so I don't even have the time to coach the team. But I make the time for it because I absolutely love doing it! There's no place I'd rather be than out on the ice with the kids! So what I'm really asking for here is for help to do the best job I can at teaching these kids the game that brought me immeasurable joy throughout my youth. Help me give these kids the same amazing experiences I had playing travel hockey in my youth! That is what I'm asking for!
