Hi everyone, I’m going to be running 10k for Guys and St Thomas’ Charity on Sunday 13th July 2025.

My older sister, Marie, was rushed into hospital in February due to pneumonia and MRSA. The emergency surgery she was given by St Thomas’ hospital saved her life and they were truly amazing with everything they did. The intensive care unit is nothing short of incredible, the nurses were so attentive and kind, and they were hugely supportive to Marie’s family (including myself) which is greatly appreciated in such a hard time. As well as St Thomas’, Guys hospital were also brilliant. They cared for her during and after her transfer from St Thomas’, and were very supportive and helpful in her process into recovery. Thanks to Guys and St Thomas’, my sister is still alive today and able to be back with her two babies, 4 and 13 weeks.
