Fundraiser for Gus

Hi my name is Owen Stevenson-Liu and I’m ten years old. I'm raising money for my friend Gus, who has been diagnosed with cancer (stage 2 lymphoma). Gus is 10 years old and he is in the same soccer club as me. This is a picture of Gus with his hair dyed the same color as his favorite football team, the Detroit Lions. He said if he has to lose his hair through treatment, he might as well have fun with it first!

 

A few weeks ago I broke my arm in two places and had to have surgery so I’m not allowed to run, ride my bike or play soccer. However, I can ride a stationary bike. My goal is to ride 150 miles in one month, so I’m asking for pledges per mile or just a total amount you would like to donate.

 

All money raised will go to Gus's family to use for medical expenses or a trip to cheer him up. I will report back at the end of the month how many miles I managed to do but it won't be more than 150. See examples below of pledges. Thank you for your support!
