Hiking Accident Fundraiser for Georgie Delgado

Georgie was in a severe accident Thursday afternoon on September 1st. He was hiking in the Rocky Mountains and slipped on a smooth rock. There was no way for him to stop as it was very steep, and he fell off the edge of the cliff 50 feet down, landing on rocks. He suffered many injuries , one of which was his pelvis which was shattered and presented as an open fracture. He was airlifted to nearest trauma center. He had several surgeries but is expected to recover with proper therapy and a lot of rehabilitation; which is why I made this GoFundMe for him to offset medical/monthly costs so he can focus solely on rehabilitation and recovery.

Everyone who knows Georgie knows that he is the hardest worker and never one to ask for help, but he will go out of his way to help anyone, even if he does not know them. He is passionate about his family, friends, health and outdoor activities, and this accident has devastated all of us. He is a miracle, and we are so blessed he is alive; 50 feet is an unimaginable fall, but he is a fighter! Doctors are very positive, and I know he will push himself to get back to normalcy.
