Gaia Young's "Celebration of Life" Fundraiser

We’re raising £15,000 to support Gaia Young’s “Celebration of Life” event, the
charities she supported and a lasting memorial in her name.

With great sadness we announce the death of our great friend Gaia Young, who
unexpectedly and suddenly passed away on Wednesday 21st July 2021 at the age of 25. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Gaia, will remember her kindness,
intelligence, creativity, free spirited nature and her bravery in always being her
authentic self. Our sadness of her passing is more than words can say.

The cause of death is still unknown, but has been a great shock to us all, given how
young, healthy and full of life as she was. Whilst death is inevitable, her life was
only just beginning.

We mourn the loss of our dear friend, dance partner, travel companion and beloved
daughter. We are hoping to raise £15,000 to cover her “Celebration of Life” event
and towards a lasting memorial in her name to help us deal with her loss.

Gaia was extremely charitable and loved to give back in her free time and we are
keen to honour that. Our fundraising goals include donating to charities Gaia
supported:
- The Little Princess Trust – a charity that provides human hair wigs to 
children and young people who have lost their hair to illness to which Gaia
had given her hair prior to her death.
-The Skid Row Running Club – a club that uses the power of running to 
improve the lives of those who are at risk of homelessness and addiction.
Travelling in California on public transport, Gaia and her mum stumbled
into Skid Row;
- and the Covid-19 Homeless Taskforce, at which Gaia regularly volunteered 
and gave her time.

Thank you for considering donating. We greatly appreciate any amount you can
contribute, and for taking the time to read about our beloved Gaia - she may be
gone in body, but her spirit will continue to live on.
