Fundraiser for funeral expenses for Christopher

My name is Katie, or as some of you know me, Lita.

My mother passed away in 2013, my dad lived by himself for the last 11 years. Today, my mom’s best friend, Julie, called me from Arkansas. Julie informed me that my dad had passed away in his sleep.

My sister and I are preparing to go to Arkansas to handle his end of life things, unfortunately, I don’t know the exact cost for funerals and cremation, but we are going to do our best. I hope that you guys will be able to help get me down to Arkansas. I’m sorry I’m not better with my words, I just don’t know what else to do.

Papa was a wonderful man and did his best to take care of my sister and I for the last decade or so and I just want to give him the best I can at the end of his life and hopefully bring closure to myself and my sister and the rest of our family.
