Hi. I'm Gareth. Next month I will be taking part in the great north run. A half marathon between Newcastle and south shields. It will be the furthest I have ever ran so will definitely be a challenge.

While doing this, I have decided to try to raise some much needed funds to help all the hounds at foxhound welfare uk. This micro rescue is run by Jackie Wallace who, single handed, takes in unwanted and abandoned hounds, cares for them, gives them extra training if needed and keeps them safe until their forever home can be found.

Every penny that I raise will go to foxhound welfare to help with the ever increasing food bills, vet bills etc
