Amy Sampen is the Mom of three sons, two of them are Type 1 Diabetics! Amy is raising funds to $upport the Faustman Lab by participating in the Spartan Beast at the Badlands in Attica Indiana on September 18th!! Over the last decade the BCG Clinical Trial Team at the Faustman Lab @ Massachusetts General Hospital has made Amazing strides! They now have 140 patients in the clinical trial program who have received at least two doses of the BCG. In two years, the Phase II Trial will read out. Right now, we are pushing to raise funds to start a Pediatric Trial. It was originally called Juvenile Diabetes because the majority of those diagnosed are children. Please help us get this trial started so we can make sure when BCG is approved, it is available to the diabetics who need it most!
