About a month ago, Eileen Miraglia, a member of the Cut+Run extended family has found out that after three years of remission, her ovarian cancer has returned. Eileen’s doctors have met with the UCLA board and put together a survival plan, and are feeling quite optimistic. However, there is a fairly long road ahead with six months of chemo and a few rounds of surgeries.
Although Eileen is insured, there will still be a lot of out of pocket expenses, and she will have to take some time off of work. She could use some support to cover some of these costs so she can focus on healing both mentally and physically.
Eileen is incredibly strong, positive, brave, and ready to fight this head-on!
