We are sad to share that our colleague, friend (and overall good guy, as you all know), Leighton Phillips, has suffered a devastating tragedy within his family. Leighton’s son Dwight just finished his third year at SUNY Binghamton and, after final exams, went to Atlantic City with his friends from school to blow off steam and relax. Upon leaving town, their car was hit by an intoxicated driver. As a result, Dwight has been in a coma and on and off a respirator.

The prognosis is as favorable as it could be under the circumstances. Still, Dwight, Leighton and the Phillips family have a long road of rehabilitation ahead, and the bills don’t stop coming.

Hopefully, with the help of our compassionate, close-knit film community, we can provide some financial assistance for the Phillips family during this difficult time. If you've worked with Leighton, you already know he has never let you down.
