We are supporting our friend and colleague Doug Bish. Over the last few weeks, their family has been tested once again. It is with regret Doug's cancer is back. It started a few weeks back when he felt a small lump on his neck where his lymph nodes are located. After multiple tests over the following weeks, it was determined that the cancer was back and had spread to several different places. It has spread to a group of lymph nodes in his neck/collar bone area on the left, a spot on the right scapula and right hip, and a few small spots on his brain. After hearing all of this, they were devastated. They could not believe it was back after having such good outcomes after the first round of treatment and surgery. After hearing he had a complete response, they were given so much hope for the future. This is a setback but they will continue to fight. Doug has already received radiation for the small spots on his brain and has started chemo. Once the insurance approves immunotherapy, he will start that as well. A quote was first shared with him by his mom last year during his treatment but has popped up a lot since.

Fate whispers to the warrior, " You can not withstand the storm." The Warrior whispers back "I am the storm."
