Help an Ice Skating Champion Fight Stage 3 Colorectal Cancer!

We are reaching out to the global ice skating community and friends to support our beloved friend, Dmitry Semykin, in his courageous fight against stage 3 colorectal cancer. Dmitry is not only an exceptional ice skater and ice dancer but also a devoted husband and father to two beautiful daughters. His life and career have been dedicated to bringing joy and entertainment to audiences worldwide through performances on cruise ships, Cirque Du Soleil and other ice shows.

Dmitry’s world was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer. Since then, he has faced immense emotional and financial challenges. Unfortunately, the local conventional medical treatments that he has already started, have not led to the expected improvements. Instead, complications have arisen, making his battle even more difficult.

In search of better medical care, Dimitry and his family have turned to the leading cancer centers in the U.S., which offer the most innovative treatments as well as a more integrative and holistic approach. This has given them renewed hope in his fight against this devastating disease.

However, with Dmitry unable to work and his family facing overwhelming medical expenses, they cannot afford the cost of this treatment on their own.

We are launching a fundraiser with the goal of raising 220,000 CAD (~$150,000 USD) to help cover the cost of Dimitry’s treatment, travel, accommodation, and essential support while he undergoes care. Your generosity will provide him with a crucial opportunity to access the best possible treatment and improve his chances of overcoming this illness.
