On May 20th, beloved mother and friend Denise Patierno suffered a stroke. We as her family have been doing everything we can to make sure she has the best care. She is getting stronger every day, though it comes at huge financial price and with many sacrifices. Much of the expense goes beyond insurance. Going forward, we will be making a lot of modifications and adjustments to her living situation, so she can spend her recovery in comfort. We've been fortunate enough to have a lot of support and love, and are reaching out for help to lift any small burdens while we deal with her current health situation and continue to adjust to this major transition.
Denise is a woman who dedicated her life to music, art, and children. Her spare time was always filled with making others happy with the gift
of song.
Since youth she has performed on countless stages, sharing her vibrancy with others.
She has spent the past 50+ years teaching children music, with a passion for early childhood education. She has raised five children of her own plus the countless children that she taught.
Due to the stroke, she lost some mobility and currently needs round the clock care in addition to medical equipment and physical therapy. With your help we can get her everything she needs to make the best recovery possible. Any amount helps, and any additional funds past our goal will be used for further long term treatment and home modification. We thank you for any help or considerations to our cause.
