Hi my name is jimisha! With permission from my mother, I am starting this fundraiser for her extremely urgent medical needs. My mother, Danielle Garrison, has just recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. It has been a lot to take in and is taking a toll on us as a family. At this moment, it is considered stage 2, it has spread from her breast to her armpit, but we will not know if it is further spread until later this week following scans. Unfortunately, it is an aggressive breast cancer she is fighting, therefore chemotherapy will be started before anything, followed by surgery later down the line. My mother has always been a wonderful, caring, helping hand to all around her. I am in disbelief that my mama has to fight this battle, but she is stronger than anyone i know. She is a single mother to her 3 daughters, and now is the main caretaker of her mother as well as currently putting my younger sister through college. I worry what will happen if she is unable to work, and unfortunately, she is going to need some help to get through the next year and a half of treatment. Along with this medical diagnosis, they are currently genetically testing her for another incurable disease that could change this whole process for my mother. She will need help in order to make her rent, car payment, medical expenses, and other expenses that come along with treatment. While she does have medical insurance, (we are so blessed by that) she still has co-pays and we are already seeing medical bills from what her insurance isn’t covering come in so I am starting this fundraiser. We have faith that she will knock this cancer out!
