Fundraiser for Connor Hayman and Family

Donation protected
Yesterday, the Haymans met with the oncology team and were informed of Connor’s aggressive treatment plan. Given that Lisa will be off for an extended period of time to support Connor and monitor him at home, I have increased the fundraiser goal. Your donations and continue support are so touching and generous, and the Haymans are incredibly grateful. Here’s an update from Lisa:

A little update on Connor.
So we have a better idea of what his treatment schedule will look like and the chemo he's already received over the past couple of days doesn't actually count as a cycle. It was to help relieve some painful symptoms, make him much more comfortable and give the team time to complete more tests and come up with a detailed plan.
His first cycle starts on Thursday and this means we won't be home until at least Wednesday of next week.
We can't even begin to express our gratitude towards the team here at the IWK. We are so very fortunate that he's here. They took on his case so very quickly and didn't hesitate for one second...reassuring us the entire way.

Your messages of support and love are getting us through this and we appreciate it so very, very much. We will never be able to thank you all for the kindness, love and generosity sent our way.
❤️

Hi, my name is Christina and Lisa is my dear friend and my sister-by-heart. Yesterday, Lisa and Stu got the news no parent ever wants to hear. Connor has cancer. The roller coaster they have been on the last four weeks is nothing short of a nightmare. Connor should be celebrating his final semester of high school, out having fun with his friends. But the reality is, he has a long road ahead of him. Luckily, he is surrounded by an incredible medical team at the IWK, his dad, brother, and girlfriend, and his mother who hasn’t left his side. We have no doubt he’ll be back on his feet, tougher than ever, and feeling the wind in those luscious locks of his as he rides his motorcycle this summer….provided he gets that license, of course ;)

This fundraiser is for those wishing to help the Haymans. Lisa will be taking unpaid leave, so any moneys raised will go directly to her as the beneficiary and used to help with meals, gas, and household bills while Connor is going through his chemo treatments. No amount is too small, everything helps!

Thank you!
