Hello!

My name is Emily Rangel, I am a junior at Lincoln High School and I've recently been accepted by the prestigious Yale Young Global Scholars Program to attend a summer program for outstanding high school students!

I feel so blessed to have been admitted to the Politics, Law, & Economics session of the Yale Young Global Scholars Program during the summer of 2019! This course will allow me to further broaden my political intellect and use what I learn for my future goals. I am confident that this program will help me explore this academic interest and help me prepare for college. Students from all over the world attend this highly competitive program. I know that I would gain a great deal from both my studies and interactions with my peers. I am so grateful for the opportunity to participate in this life changing experience.

I was fortunate enough to be awarded some financial aid even with the high demand for financial aid and a limited amount of funds, however, this program is so extensive, with some of the world's best professors instructing us, I will still need funds to cover the rest of my tuition, travel to and from Connecticut, potentially a hotel room for one or two nights, and any additional expenses that we might run into along the way. 

In addition to your prayers for safe travels, I am reaching out to you to ask for your support and your consideration to a donation. Any sized contribution would mean an immense amount to me! Additionally, I would very much appreciate if you shared my story and my mission with friends, family, neighbors, and other community members.
