Hello, this is the last thing I wanted to do because of how hard it is for me to come to terms with. But my name is Courtney Adams. My father, Christopher Adams, unexpectedly passed away on July 14, 2025. I am creating this fundraiser to raise money for my dad’s burial and funeral expenses. Unfortunately, he left us very unexpectedly and wasn’t prepared to put the funds aside for any future funeral arrangements. He didn’t think he was going to just die so randomly. The total cost of the arrangements is roughly $15,850, which I don’t have. I am a single mom with a 2-year-old daughter struggling to make ends meet myself. I just want to be able to give my father the proper burial that he deserves.
Currently, he is being held in a temperature-controlled cooler until payment is made to the funeral home and cemetery. The funeral home and cemetery are working with me and my brother and giving us some time to come up with this payment. Funeral date still pending since coming up with payment has been difficult. I visited the cemetery and picked out his spot; it will be next to this tree. I think he would really have loved the spot I chose. I plan to get the plot next to him in the future so I can be buried next to my daddy. I have also decided to go with an upright headstone as well because it is what my father deserved for how great of a man he was. He wasn’t just a regular guy; he was many people’s hero. He was always there to save the day.
I just want to be able to finally lay my father to rest so that my family and I can grieve. My father, Christopher Adams, was only 56 years old. He was the most loving father and best grandpa to his grandbabies. He was an amazing friend to so many and helped so many people in his life. I am hoping with the love and support from his amazing friends, we can help this fundraiser grow and put my dad to rest, so we can all be a little more at ease. I am asking for any type of help during this extremely difficult time. Any donation would be used directly towards funeral and burial costs. Thank you again.
