Greetings!

My name is Chloe. I am fundraising to help cover the costs of my summer dance intensive at Boston Ballet.

I began taking dance classes at the age of 12, but my love of dance started long before that. I have worked hard in and out of the studio, and even changed studios, to help achieve my dream of becoming a professional ballerina. It’s a lot of work, sacrifice, and fills my soul.

This year, my hard work paid off. I was accepted to and am attending Boston Ballet’s Summer Dance Program. For 5 weeks, I get to train with some of the best teachers in the world! It’s an absolute gift and I am so grateful to have earned this experience.

Because I will be traveling across the country from Montana to Boston, expenses are really adding up. I complete high school online which allows me to work several hours a week to help pay for my dance classes. My parents work hard and have been dedicated public servants for a combined 50+ years. They do what they can to help pay for me and my sibling’s activities. The reality is, a dance career is an expensive one (training, housing, travel, pointe shoes, etc).

Through this outlet, I hope very kind and generous people will help support this step in my dance career by helping me cover expenses for this summer, including the program, travel (airfare), and lodging. People in my family are not very good at asking for help, but we are asking today. Please consider helping me take this step toward achieving my professional career goal.
