Fundraiser for Chip and Belle Wood

In the Fall of 2021, Belle and Chip received the difficult news that Chip has Stage 3 colon cancer. Chip immediately began months of chemotherapy; this treatment was supplemented by daily radiation in March 2022, which continued through early April. Chip successfully completed this demanding treatment and is now recovering while he prepares for surgery, currently planned for July.

Thankfully, Belle and Chip have excellent health care that covers the cost of his medical treatment. However, the rigors of Chip's cancer treatment render him unable to meaningfully work at the present time. This understandably has added a lot of financial stress for his family, but has opened a door for us to support Belle and Chip,

We have organized this fundraiser as a way for all of us who love Belle and Chip and their amazing family to donate funds to help relieve some financial stress while Chip goes through the next few months of his treatment. It has been said many times in West Marin that it "takes a village" and there have been so many times when this community has come together to help others facing difficult challenges; time and time again this community stands up and pays it forward to help the friends we cherish. Please join us now, if and to whatever extent you are able, as we pay it forward for Belle and Chip.
