Hello, Everyone. My name is Ritchie Izaguirre. Most of us know that I work in the elevator and escalator industry and with that comes many risks and dangers, including heights and extremely high voltages. What most of the general public doesn't know is that there are more dangers that are involved. Getting crushed by mechanical equipment or electrocution or the simple act of breathing toxins in the air from carbon dust, rouge (airborne rust particles), lead paint, or asbestos are all other forms of danger in our industry. 

  I am making this GoFundMe page for my friend and coworker, Brian Cavanaugh.  He has been diagnosed with sarcoidosis. Sarcoidosis is a pulmonary disease that affects the lungs and lymph glands and nodes in the body.  He has missed more than two months of work since January.  He is constantly going to the doctors to do blood work, chest x-rays, an endoscopy, a brain cat scan, and multiple other tests until he goes to Mount Saini in NYC for his treatment. Brian is having difficulty breathing, has chest pains, back pains,  is having trouble sleeping , and is most worried about his family. Brian is a father of two  young teenage boys that need his dad. 

 This money that I'm raising for my friend, Brian, will help with added expenses and the time he lost from work. I ask that you help with as much as you can. You can give in multiple times if you can't give all at once. Every little bit helps. I want to thank you for your time and your help.
