Hi friends!

Today marks three weeks of what has been a health nightmare for my dad and our family.

When we got back from a wonderful family vacation to the beach, my dad went to the hospital in an unimaginable amount of pain where an infection on his spine was discovered. This infection led to sepsis and put strain on multiple organs. Dad was intubated for days and spent even more time in the ICU. A number of other complications have arisen over his time in the hospital. Today, Dad enters his second round of surgeries in hopes of reaching some relief.

If you know my parents, you know they are the hardest working, most caring individuals and would give to anyone. Right now, they are both out of work. My dad will be out of work for an unknown amount of time recovering and rehabbing. My mom will be out of work for a reasonable amount of time caring for my dad.

My goal is to take some of the financial burden off their backs so there is one less thing for them to worry about.
