Fundraiser for Beth Lee's funeral

And those who have supported the fundraiser by sharing the post. You have all been amazing. This will be staying up for a little while and any further donations will go towards to help the family.

Honestly, the response has been absolutely amazing and I and the family would like to thank every one of you who has donated.

I can confirm the funeral will be held at Carlton crematorium on Tuesday 11th June at 9.30 am.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Beth Lee, who unfortunately passed away at the age of 28.

Beth self-admitted to the hospital on Saturday 11th May 2024 along with her mother but tragically passed away in the early hours of the morning around 5am on Sunday 12th.

Beth was a very much-loved individual. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and genuine care for others were just a few of the many qualities she had. She was always there for her friends and family, no matter what time of day it was.

When Beth was born, her parents were told that she had a hole in her heart. Although they were told that the hole had healed when she left the hospital, however, this wasn’t the case. Four years ago, Beth began experiencing high heart rate, palpitations, shortness of breath and struggling to walk and get out of bed, which led to multiple hospital visits. After investigation, she was admitted to Liverpool Hospital where she underwent major open-heart surgery.

The operation went well, and as time went on, Beth seemed to be back to her normal self however, in the last few weeks, Beth's started feeling unwell where she was struggling with day-to-day tasks and experiencing the same symptoms she did 4 years prior. Beth unfortunately passed away following a heart attack and will be going for autopsy.

Beth, no longer being here with us has left us all very shocked and saddened. To honour her memory and give her the farewell she deserves, we ask if you donate anything no matter how small, this will all go towards Beth's family to help with the financial costs of the funeral.
