Avtar Mandla passed away earlier this month after battling with  health complications over the last year. Avtar was a 21 year Victaulic employee who worked in our Fabrication area.

Throughout those 21 years many of you had the pleasure of working directly with Avi. For those who didn’t you may have seen him at our annual BBQ’s or participating in wellness events as a past member of our Wellness Committee. He was always smiling, joking and willing to help out. He was also an integral part of our joint health and safety committee.

Avi left behind his wife, Puja, and daughter, Amrita. Several of you have been asking if there is a way you can donate to help his family during this difficult time. Therefore we have set up this Go Fund Me page in Avi's honor. All donations will be sent directly to his wife to help with funeral and other costs. We will be keeping this page open until July 16th at which time we will deliver the money raised to Avi's wife. 

The generosity already shown through the number of people who have reached out with stories, heartfelt words and offers to help is a testament to the fantastic employees we have, and the amazing coworker that Avtar was. Thank you.
