Fundraiser for Aunt Mimi
On a trip back to her home state after visiting family for the holidays, my Aunt Mimi was feeling severe pains in her chest so my Uncle stopped at a small town in Alabama to bring her to the emergency room. After some tests they had found out she was having a heart attack. That small hospital then transferred her to UAB Medical Center in Birmingham. She was there for about six weeks in the intensive care unit. After coding once and needing a heart and kidney transplant, she eventually recovered miraculously, not needing any transplants at all. However, it has left her with massive medical bills.
The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on her husband's locally owned business adding to their financial burden. There are ways that the state aids local businesses, but it still isn't enough as if the business were running as normal.
Blessing them with a monetary gift is much appreciated. We also understand that not everyone can give financially, especially during this time. If you are unable to give financially, we would appreciate kind thoughts and prayers during this difficult season.
