Fundraiser for Angell Gann and her Kids

Donation protected
This is my friend Angell Gann if you know her you know that she is an incredible person, mother, and friend.

She is a single mother of 3 boys, Jack, Danny and Harrison. Her boys are truly the most wonderful kids and she is incredibly proud of them.

Although the boys have shared custody with their dad, Angell works endlessly to provide a healthy life for them.

I have known Angell for some time, her self awareness and willingness to heal from the past and be a light for her children and her friends is extraordinary. She is truly the most graceful and optimistic person I have ever met. If you know her, you have felt this.

During Covid-19 she developed shingles and was later diagnosed with an autoimmune condition where she became bedridden for 2 months. She was not able to take care of her kids during that time.  She told me (with complete gratitude and optimism) "I literally crawled from my bed to the bathroom I was so weak".

She did not receive her unemployment money during this time and stretched her stimulus check for two months.

With less than $200 in her bank account, her checking account got hacked and her accounts were frozen while her bank was investigating and she was waiting for her paycheck to come through. These minor inconveniences are especially hard on a single mother living paycheck to paycheck. Angell has expressed immense amounts of gratitude for times when I have sent her a friendly $40 when she is waiting for her next paycheck. Which to her can mean dinner for her family, and gas for her car.  She is a humble person and beaming with gratitude and light. It pains me to know that she has been vulnerable to financial struggles such as this, even before Covid.

She has told me about these experiences with nothing but a smile on her face and confidence that everything will work out. I have never heard Angell victimize herself or feel sorry for herself, she lives her life with faith and grace.

Her children are understanding of her situation and are the kindest sweetest boys I have ever met. They live a good life with their mom, I have never seen a mother spend such thoughtful quality time with her children, they go to the lake and hike, they have picnics and explore the nearby canyons. They are wild kids, they climb trees and rocks and Angell has always given them space to learn of their own physical capabilities and let boys be boys. They are self-aware, polite, and understanding of their mother and her financial situation. Naturally, boys break their arms, cut themselves climbing fences, get stitches, and other small accidents. These kids are as tough as nails. Of course, this has added extra medical bills for Angell at times but they power through.

Angell lives a modest life, she has expenses like feeding herself and two children gluten-free and dairy-free diets due to her autoimmune condition and her kid's lactose intolerance. She has a decent car to get her family around, although it tends to heat up and her priorities are usually feeding her family rather than getting her car tuned up when it desperately needs it.  She is paying off Danny's medical bills from breaking his arm last summer and her own medical bills from her recent doctor's visits.

She has been grateful and reliant on the food programs at the health food store where they offer free food that is about to expire, she accepts food from her friends that grow gardens and has experience growing her own garden.

What I want for Angell is some financial liberation, I want her to have the money she can put towards her car, towards her bills, and towards her children.

I want her to be able to go to the grocery store and buy whatever she needs and not worry about the cost. I want her to be able to pay rent with money to spare. She loves her kids so much and they all deserve to have a little more support.

I am raising money for Angell's bills, medical bills, groceries, and funds for her children.  Thank you for taking the time to help with this fundraiser. Angell is an incredible mother and human being and I know she will cry with sheer gratitude when she learns about this money being raised for her and her boys.
