If you’ve met my sister, Allyson, you know she’s a very active person in her day to day life. From taking care of many many animals on her barn, to trying to keep up with her very energetic son. She’s always been someone to try and do as much as possible on her own before she ever asks anyone for help. A few years ago, she was diagnosed with LS, an auto immune disorder that generally attacks the female organs/anatomy. While it has been manageable so far, this past week has taken the biggest toll on her, physically and mentally. Although there is no cure (YET), there are treatments to attempt remission. The treatment facilities are located in Florida so with this amount it can help cover not only medical expenses but travel and stay as well.
