Love and Support for Alex Tischner

Story

This Go Fund Me is for our dear friend Alex Tischner who is loved by many. Alex is suffering from two different traumatic brain/skull injuries. He lost his son who was truly his everything. His dear mom passed away a little over a year ago to brain cancer. He is over-drafted with his bank. His credit card is maxed out. He lost his car. He is way behind in rent because he hasn’t been working and he has now been asked to move out. Alex will be homeless by the end of the weekend with nowhere to go if things don’t change right away. Here is Alex’s story below: “My first Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) happened in 2012 when I was pitching in a softball game and took a line drive right between my eyes, fractured my forehead 10 inches, my second TBI was in 2019 from my baby boys mother’s boyfriend at the time, who struck the back of my skull and it was fractured twice 5 inch fractures each. My brain injuries limit my physical mobility. I don't walk as much as I used to. It has affected my cognitive ability to remember comprehension. My brain injuries were very intense, and changed my life. My bank is overdrawn by $300, my credit card is maxed out at $2500, I owe $2500 for late rent fees. I’m renting a room from an older couple. I haven’t been working so I can’t afford rent anymore and so I’ve been asked to leave. I don’t have a car anymore and will be homeless after this weekend. I’ve been dealing with Social Security disability but they take forever to get back with me. It’s crazy that I was the head Cinema-photographer for Burton snowboarding for 6 years and traveled the world, to now being disabled and finding new ways to live life.” Alex is a really good person with a very big heart. What he is dealing with would be a lot for anyone. Can you even imagine trying to navigate all of this with a traumatic brain injury?? He could really use every blessing possible right now. Alex is feeling very overwhelmed with all of the obstacles in front of him. If you can, please help him. Any contribution you offer makes such a difference! Thank you so much for your consideration, it truly means so much. Most Sincerely, Michele Noto Bianchi (Bala)
