Fundraiser for Aizik’s heart procedure & surgery

Hi! My name is Samantha (Aizik’s aunt) and we would love to introduce to you all an amazing boy named Aizik!

Aizik was born October 2009 where he was diagnosed with Pulmonary Valve Stenosis which he was air lifted to Children’s Minneapolis Hospital. At just 11 hours old he would undergo open heart surgery to repair his pulmonary valve. In March of 2010 and January 2015 he had two balloon procedures done to help open the pulmonary valve. He has remained a very healthy active child until recently. On 9/9/2022 he was taken to the ER for chest pain and shortness of breath. Doctors didn’t find anything and told to follow up with his cardiologist. He was getting worse so his loving mom Danielle had taken him back into the ER 9/15/22 where an echo was done with follow up with a cardiologist the next day. The cardiologist told them medical intervention will need to be done as his tricuspid valve has severe regurgitation causing his heart to work Harder to pump blood to the left side. Aizik also has quite significant dilation to the right side of his heart.

Anyone who knows Aizik, he lights up a room with his smile. He is so kind, and the most amazing sense of humor! He is the light in the dark room. He goes out of his way to make sure you get a laugh from his quirky jokes.

Also, during all of this we come to find out that Danielle’s dad (Aizik’s loving grandpa) has been diagnosed with Mesothelioma. Due to his diagnosis, he will be moving from Illinois to move in with Danielle and family, so he can be surrounded by his children and grandchildren until it is time for him to go on towards his Heavenly home to join our Lord.

These are difficult times for this amazing family. But they remain so strong and so full of faith, what an inspiration! With your help, any funds raised will go towards groceries, medical bills, and travel expenses as they may need to travel to the Twin Cities for further surgery for Aizik.
