Fundraiser for a Short Film, Protect and Serve

This is an updated message to let you know that we have completed most of the filming for our movie, “Protect and Serve.” (Original GoFundMe Message is found below) The film is currently in post production, to premiere Jan 6, 2022 at a local theatre! We are working diligently to research film festivals, distributors, and platforms for streaming.
As of right now we have put about $8,000 into the making of this project, from travel expenses, to housing, equipment rentals, and studio fees. This GoFundMe has really helped to cover a big portion of our expenses, and will remain active for those who’d like to contribute! :)

Original GoFundMe Message:
We’re raising funds to produce a short film that will be shot in Northern Michigan and the El Paso area. We already have a majority of our shooting locations in place, and an amazing crew of actors!
This film will be produced by Christopher Jones, an award winning filmmaker and actor from El Paso, Texas, and Lydia Keen, actor and producer of Northport, Michigan.
Our objective is to share and celebrate the filmmaking process, support local businesses and artists, and raise awareness on several related domestic and social issues.
Any amount would be greatly appreciated! All funds will help to offset our travel expenses, housing and meals for crew, rental fees for equipment, as well as a venue for our premier in Jan 2022.
