Xander is a vibrant, happy and brave 5-year-old from Dana Point. He is turning six years old in a couple of weeks. He started Kindergarten this year; he loves to play with his friends, ride his bike and play on the playground.
At only two years old, he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow that affects white blood cells. He battled it for two years and beat it! Last week, his family received the shocking news that the cancer was back. Doctors quickly admitted him to CHOC Children’s hospital the day after Thanksgiving, and he started chemotherapy for the 2nd time in his young life a couple of days ago, on November 28th. No kid should ever have to go through what he is going through, but Xander is strong and will beat it again for good!
This Go Fund Me page is to help Xander get the absolute best cancer treatment available, including long-term chemo treatments and long-term care. We don't want his parents, Brian and Tracy (Theresa Jones), to worry about anything; we want them to focus on Xander while he fights this battle. They are with Xander day and night at the hospital during his treatment, and we don't want them to stress if they miss work. Funds will be used for state-of-the-art medical treatments and to help with any costs that insurance won't cover. It will also allow parents to be out of work when needed to be with Xander.
Let’s all pray for Xander and his quick and complete recovery. Send him positive and happy healing vibes daily, please. He will beat this again; he has a long fight and needs positive prayers from everyone. Please help Xander’s family with donations and share this page on your social media page. Anything you can do to help will be appreciated.
To donate blood to CHOC is always needed, please also share link:
On behalf of Xander and his loving family, THANK YOU for your support.
