Fundraiser couple with double cancer diagnosis

Hi! This is my aunt & uncle Joanne & Rejean Cardinal. These amazing and generous "Make-a-Wish" fundraiser couple needs some help. During this difficult time, both of them are fighting cancer!THAT'S RIGHT...... AT THE SAME TIME! It's time to give back to them and show cancer that we will  fight and NOT lose more good people like my aunt & uncle.


Let me tell you a bit of about why this incredible couple needs our support. It started last year when Rejean was diagnosed with Mesothelioma of the lungs.  After a hard year dealing with chemotherapy and complications, he will have to once more go through  chemo at the end of March but decided to put his life/treatment on hold to take care of my aunt's terrifying diagnosis of ovarian cancer. Joanne just finished her chemo treatment and started her 6 weeks radiation treatment on February 24 at The Ottawa Hospital General Campus. This is a 3 hour drive each day! They are exhausted and unable to work. These funds would help them with traveling cost,  parking,  paying for a hotel (to give them more opportunities to rest),  buying food and even pay for a licence plate ticket that they got on the way to the hospital (sorry Rejean I had to put it in there lol). With these funds my uncle would't have to wait to get his chemo treatment and be giving a fair chance to FIGHT IT TOGETHER!


To give you an idea of the generosity of this couple, Joanne & Rejean have been hosting a "Derick's Pancake Day" in their sugar bush location in Ste-Anne-de-Prescott each year in honour of their son that tragically died in an accident. This event raised more than 155,000$ for Make-a-Wish Foundation of Eastern Ontario.
