We visited eighteen families affected by the war with Azerbaijan, and all are still waiting for outside assistance. As you can imagine, they are experiencing huge financial struggles -- some are not even able to pay for the burial services of their loved ones.
These are families who have lost not only a husband, son and a father but also their sole financial provider. Wives and mothers have to think of ways to feed their children and keep their houses while dealing with unimaginable pain and grief.
Those who live in remote villages face a brutally cold winter, but your donations can provide them with the food, warm clothing and other necessities they need.
Over the years, I have organized humanitarian aid to orphanages of Armenia. This year, with your help, we must do all we can to extend our hand to the families of soldiers who have put their lives at risk for the freedom and safety of our people.
Though there are many wonderful individuals assisting our people, it takes time for the help to get to the families. With this in mind, we want to provide direct help as soon as possible.
