Fundraiser by Friends of David Lancaster

If you're like me, you're a friend of David Lancaster. Maybe you've driven to Hamilton with David at 4:30 in the morning, or maybe you've found one of David's notes in your mailbox asking if a film crew can invade your house for 12hrs a day, or maybe you've rolled your eyes at a David story that shouldn't be repeated here... and there are a lot of those. If you've worked with David over the past years, you no doubt have countless memories of the jokes, tall tales and lunches at Breezy Corners or Collins Brew Pub. And let's not forget the obligatory Tim Hortons muffins and San Pellegrino's that he always had in his trunk!

I consider David a friend in an industry where a friend can be hard to find. Unfortunately, my friend needs help.

Earlier this year, David Lancaster was diagnosed with Stage 4 bladder cancer. The past few months have not been an easy road for David. There have been barrages of tests, extended stays in the hospital and multiple surgeries. All of this has put a stop to David's ability to work and make a living, putting a strain on his ability to support himself and to help stop him from losing his home.

On top of the day to day financial challenges, David has also been amassing a large pile of medical bills.

In short, as a friend of David Lancaster, I'm asking all his friends to help. I am hoping to raise enough money to help David pay for the medical treatment needed, and to help him maintain his residence as he fights this very tough fight.
