FUNDRAISER 4 DEPRIVED SCHOOLS & COM'TIES IN GHANA

Tax deductible
Since its founding, the Ghana Association of Richmond Metropolis has engaged in activities to promote Ghanaian cultures and its members' well-being. However, after celebrating Ghana’s 63rd independence, the Association determined to pursue other objectives of its founding, namely to make transformative contributions to deprived communities and schools in Ghana.

This year, it is against this background that we are launching our annual fundraiser in support of three schools and a community in Ghana.

Two schools have requested computers for their labs that have no functioning equipment. One of those schools needs to renovate a wall partitioning two classrooms and books for their library. A third school needs to be renovated. Like the other two schools, we believe that this may also need computers and a library. Unfortunately, the parents of these communities are peasant farmers who cannot provide these vital resources for their communities. As we all know, quality education is an indispensable mode of socialization, a primary human right for these children and cannot be ignored.

The third project is potable drinking water for a fourth community. In this community, children share the only source of drinking water, very muddy, with cattle. Again, the health implications of this cannot be overemphasized.

We believe that tiny drops of water will eventually make mighty oceans and appreciate any contributions you make. These are worthy causes for which we need your support.
