This December, while many of us are preparing for holidays, Krista is in the middle of something no mother should ever face: choosing between life-saving treatments… and Christmas for her kids.

She has a son and a daughter who are still young, who still believe in magic, and who still look up at their mom like she’s the strongest person in the world.

And she is.

But even the strongest need help.

The Diagnosis Changed Everything

Krista's cancer is more aggressive. More complex. More frightening.

Through this very fundraiser, we were able to access advanced genomic testing — and what we learned changed everything.

Krista has a rare genetic mutation that makes standard cancer treatments ineffective.

That means everything the system would normally offer simply won’t work for her body.

But this testing also revealed something hopeful:

Alternative, targeted treatments exist that could extend her life.

Treatments built just for her — based on her DNA, her body, and her unique battle.

But they come with a heartbreaking catch:

None of them are covered.

The Only Path Forward

Krista’s care now includes alternative immunotherapies, functional medicine, targeted supplementation, and advanced testing protocols — treatments she has to pay for out-of-pocket while still trying to show up every day as a mother, a wife, and a human being just trying to hold it all together.

We’ve used much of the original fundraising for the testing that gave us answers.

Now we urgently need your help to fund the next phase of treatment — the one that could keep her here longer.
