Mr. Hilts is a music teacher at Patrick Fogarty Secondary School in Orillia. He constantly prioritizes his students' well-being and is tremendously compassionate to the people in his life. He has touched countless students' lives, and we are all highly appreciative of him.

Recently, Hilts informed his students that his son is currently fighting a sickness. He will be taking a year-long break from teaching to travel to Europe for his son's treatment. This treatment will be quite costly, considering it will be received outside Canada, and his students wanted to do something to help. We collaboratively decided to start this GoFundMe to help raise funding for him! Any donation is much appreciated, and we hope that this is a way that we students can give back to our favourite teacher!
