This June, I’m running 50 miles for Alzheimer’s awareness in honor of my great grandmother, Mimi, and my grandfather, Tato, while supporting my grandmother, Silvia (“Tata”), who is currently battling the disease. Alzheimer’s has touched both sides of my family, and this challenge is my way of honoring them while supporting the fight for better care, research, and one day, a cure.
