Company Statement on death of sanitation worker Angel Aguilar
With great sadness, we inform you that Angel Aguilar, a veteran employee of Cogent Waste Solutions, succumbed to injuries he received Saturday morning while working on a solid waste collection route in Brooklyn. Mr. Aguilar was the victim of a senseless vehicular homicide.
All of us at Cogent Waste Solutions are grieving for the loss of our friend and co-worker Angel Aguilar. Angel was beloved by all who were fortunate to have had the opportunity spend time with him. Our condolences, thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

As of this writing, no arrests have been made regarding the subject who killed Angel.
The funds raised here will be presented to Angel's brother Ivan in a ceremony to be held at Angel's place of employment Cogent Waste Solutions. The funds will be allocated to assist Angel's family after the sudden and tragic loss of Angel.
We have been given authorization by Ivan Aguilar to act as his representative and to withdraw and disperse the funds to him at an event to be held at our offices.
