From the hearts of MizzO’s Angels,

For many years, Ms. Trina Oliver, “MizzO” as she is fondly called, has not only encouraged and inspired O’Dowd students in their love of theater, but she has inspired them to find their humanity, their passion and their compassion for this world. She has spent countless hours outside of the classroom coaching and preparing students for auditions and helping them get accepted to some of the top theater schools in the nation, including Juilliard, NYU, and UCLA to name a few. At the same time, she has given an incredible amount of her time to counsel and guide, to listen and to support, the students of O’Dowd and the community in which she lives. In theatre, she always seems to find just the right piece that will highlight both the student’s theater skills and personality. MizzO is the epitome of the 5 D’s that she preaches – drive, desire, dedication, determination and discipline. In life, she always seems to have a smile, a hand, a hug for those who need it.

Well now, her Angels are reaching out to you. MizzO needs our help. She is struggling with symptoms of multiple sclerosis and requires some adjustments at home and mobility aids, such as an electric scooter, scooter lift for her car, and a bathroom remodel.

For all that she has given, for the life-long commitment she has made to enriching the lives of others, she now needs our support, in the healing power of prayer for her mind/body/spirit, and in the financial support that will allow her to continue to do the work she loves with grace! Every donation – large or small – will help MizzO. With you, we can get MizzO the assistance she desperately needs. With you, she, our angel, who has given us so much of herself to enrich our lives, can continue her passion and journey!
