I'm not here to beg. I'm not here for your sympathy either. I'm here because, I need help in this and I need to get over my pride and ask for it. Heck, if a potato salad can get $55,000 I figure there is a chance for me on the internet.

Currently
I am a freshman attending Blinn College. I am living independently and I have two jobs trying to save for tuition (T.J. Me [T.J. Maxx] and Best Buy). All in all, I want to save enough to get tuition paid here. Then transfer to a better college that can train me for the profession I want to go into, reporting. Retail is cool and all, but really I can only sell credit cards so often in one week.

About Me
Well, quite simply put, I am a standard nerd. Senior Year I was president of the Fandom Club of Magnolia High School. Most of the things we did there didn't make it past Administration, like the time we did a parody of Welcome To Nightvale that was too dark apparently... No, I'm still not forgiving them for that, it would have been so cool hearing that through the intercom! Well anyway, I have too many obsessions to even list. I have them all summarized in a convenient list of all the celebrities I want to high five before I kick the bucket! So far I've only got two on my list, out of about Three Hundred.

My Goals
Blinn is a great college, don't get me wrong. However, they don't have any degrees in Mass Communications. I have always had a passion for finding stories, and sharing them with other people. I want to build a career out of this, but where I'm now at I can't do that. My all-time dream is to work with Nerdist Industries.

Why I need help
My initial plan was to join the National Guard, being a chef. However, that was compromised when they found papers saying that when I was 8 I was diagnosed with autism. I was retested and I don't show any signs of autism anymore, however it was enough to permanently disqualify me. I'm trying to save as much as I can to tie everything up here, and move to a better school, but even with two jobs the rate of tuition is getting me in a bigger hole, and I can't take as many hours as I would like since I'm working so often. I've tried applying for countless scholarships, but I never hear back from them... Nope, still haven't heard back from any.

I know I'll be fine in the end, no matter where I go or how long it takes me. I didn't want to do this at first because I feel like I don't deserve anyone's help. But, really this is an investment. I am applying for your scholarship if you will, to everyone's scholarship, you name the value. I set my goal low because anything helps, even if I get one person funding a dollar, that is more than I could hope for.
No matter how much you fund you are making an impact on my future. I have great aspirations, and who knows where the wind takes me. If I end up being famous, you deserve the bragging rights to say that your $5 donation got me there!
